about

Musical Faux Pas combine with percussive house to create infectiously simple and at times slightly awkward club music where even the dysfunctional is nothing less than awesome.
The EP opens with the collaboration between himself and Scattermusic’s own Slap & Dash titled Saxathone. A seriously bugged out saxophone loop and layers of jacking tropical percussion make this the perfect soundtrack to a very weird summer beach party. Next up Rotterdam’s Kid Kaio offers his take adding strong Bubblin’ and Baile Funk overtones to create a super tough club stomper. Tranters second outing on the release is ‘Boregasm’ where mellow bells lull you into to a false sense of calm before the whole melody flips into a stomping 8 bit riff. Rounding out the package is Darling Farah’s re-rub of ‘Boregasm’ where the grinding intensity of the original is replaced with lush, deep early morning nightclub vibes.
