Melbourne duo SWISHER arise with their debut EP ready to make you stand up and pay attention. Brothers Petera and Phillip are only new to producing music, however this release oozes professionalism with their crisp snares, booming bass pressure and signature “sighs” which is certain to shake dance floors.
The release consists of three originals – the first titled “Pyrokeet” which features big sub kicks, tension-building melody lines, and a lead (resembling close to a crying bird) that will get stuck in your head for days.
The track “Left Field” stands out with its gunshot-sounding claps, while the bass rolls give consistent movement to the track. An awesome groove hits mid-way through, which is virtually impossible to resist.
Closing out the EP is a fierce bass-monster that is made for the clubs. “Slot Machine” & its dark building intro will haunt as this track is not your average club track. Once the chanting samples kick in, the entire song is completely turned on with cheeky vocal sampling & low-end enticing energy to keep you moving.
If you love your snare rolls, big kicks and even bigger bass, you’re going to love getting to know SWISHER.
